  • BCR Policies Announcement

The Planning Group of the Boston Comics Roundtable has written and adopted a policy on interpersonal behavior and speech, which will apply to our weekly meetings and online forums. While our group has been generally characterized by harmony and mutual respect, we ask that all BCR members please read these policies, and bear them in mind.

    The policies are posted here:
    http://bostoncomicsroundtable.com/policy/

The Planning Group is also in the process of finalizing conflict resolution procedures, which we  are confident will be rarely needed!

Any comments or concerns, please address to any member of the BCR Planning Group, or email to concerns@bostoncomicsroundtable.com

    Good Morning Gorgon
Another great new comic bubbles up from the BCR cauldron: “Good Morning, Gorgon” from the team of Ben Doane and Olivia Li, plus colors and tones by Jamie Koh! This book is 40 pages of adorable. It will be on sale at RIPExpo, but you don’t have to wait…

What’s the book about? “Single mama gorgon Maddie has six hissing kids. Planning birthday parties is hard, especially when your children live on your head!”

It’s eight dollars, black and white (perfect bound!), and, we repeat, totally adorable. Buy it here!

Thursday 3-12 Meeting Presentation: A look back at BCR anthologies

This Thursday, Dan Mazur will present, a little walk down memory lane, relating the history of BCR anthology publishing, and bring in examples of all the anthologies that have come out of the group, including some rarities. Inspiring anecdotes and cautionary tales — you may never look at a BCR anthology the same way again!

  • Machiavelli

    Machiavelli

    Machiavelli
Lucky Kickstarter contributors (like me) are getting their copies of our friend Don MacDonald’s gorgeous historical graphic novel, “Machiavelli.”   Those less lucky will have to wait awhile for hard copies of the book to be available — but in the  meantime it’s there for the taking at Comixology.
