This Sunday, July 12, Franklin Einspruch will lead a workshop, “Using Your Head to Draw the Figure,” at the Boston Comics Workspace.

You can reserve your spot (for a mere $10) at Eventbrite.
This workshop will cover the basics of drawing the human figure out of your imagination. It will introduce a simple system that relies on proportion, geometry, and just a little bit of anatomy to get a drawing of a person to read well in a panel. The artist can elaborate on this system to make figures appropriate to any genre, from superhero to slice-of-life. We will also talk about working from reference.
