The Daily Beast has named “Comics: a Global History, 1968 to the Present” by Dan Mazur and Alexander Danner as one of its Best Coffee Table Books of the year. “For the aficionado or the neophyte, Comics is a useful overview of a richly creative period in a burgeoning art. And despite the good scholarship the authors have managed to retain the buoyancy and upbeat air attendant on most comics.”
