  • BCR Signing at Harrison’s Comics

     

    The writers and artists of the Boston Comics Roundtable will be signing books at Harrison’s Comics in Salem, MA on Saturday, October 1st from 12pm-4pm. Get your copies of Inbound, Outbound, and Hellbound signed by the authors and illustrators themselves. Our artists will also be doing free caricatures and monster sketches, so please come on by.

    This event is organized by our own Eric Boeker.  To get you in the mood for going to Salem in the thick of Halloween season, we present the veritably transportative cover of Eric’s MICE debut, Commute of the Living Dead * Volume One: Blood and Coffee.  See the MICE website for more details.  Better yet, stop by his table this Saturday at MICE 2011!

  • Meeting Tonight & Hellbound Papermaking!

    Join us tonight at 7:30pm at the Democracy Center (map) in Harvard Square for our weekly meeting in the Nelson Mandela Room.

    In other news, BCR members have been making paper at the Boston Paper Collective for the upcoming art edition of Hellbound II, published by Roho of Riverbird Studios and edited by Jesse Lonergan. Check out all the papermaking mayhem at the Hellbound blog!

  • We’re going underground tonight, August 11th

    Join us for a subterranean meeting tonight. Same time, same place–7:30pm at the Democracy Center (map) in Harvard Square–except in the basement for a change.

    Tonight, SEE Jerel Dye show original poster art for our upcoming MICE event! FEEL handmade paper that ROHO & other BCR members made only days ago at the Boston Paper Collective for the forthcoming limited art edition of Hellbound 2! The excitement is pulpable! Er…palpable…rather.
