    Double Nickels ForeverFranklin Einspruch is among the contributors to the new anthology, “Double Nickels Forever,” edited by Warren Craghead III, the book is “a drawn tribute to the Minutemen’s Double Nickels on the Dime album. 58 artists drew the 45 songs on the double LP.”

  • BCR 5th Anniversary Party tonight, Hellbound II tomorrow night!

    Join us tonight at 7:30pm at the Democracy Center (map) in Harvard Square for our weekly meeting in the Nelson Mandela Room. We’ll be celebrating 5 years of the Boston Comics Roundtable! Come have cake and see what cartoonists are like when they’re happy! Happy 5th Birthday, BCR!!!

    The party will then move over to John Harvard’s in Harvard Sq. at 8:15pm. Join us there for further carousing!

    Tomorrow night, Friday, October 28th @ 7:00pm, we’ll all get some rest by partying some more at the Hellbound II Release Party at Tommy Doyle’s in Harvard Square. Wear a costume and click here so you have all the details!

  • Places to see art this weekend!

    Itching to see some wonderful comic art this weekend?  Look no further, for the artists of Boston Comics Roundtable are at your service!

    Our own E. J. Barnes has work on display in the Cambridge Art Association‘s 67th Fall Salon, opening this evening.  She’s also in “50-100-150: A Hot Summer Show,” closing Sunday at the Riverside Gallery.

    The opening reception for Comic Art New England is tomorrow evening, 6pm-9pm!
