  • Art of the BCR in Marblehead

    Come and see the art of the Roundtable!

    Marblehead Arts Association is hosting “The Art of the Boston Comics Roundtable”, an exhibition of original comic art by our members and including pieces from our latest anthology, Inbound #4: A Comic History of Boston.

    Join us for a special reception party on Sunday, March 7 from 2-4pm! Enjoy artwork, hang out with local comics creators, and catch screenings of short animation pieces by members of the Roundtable.

    The exhibition will be on display from March 6-28 at the MAA’s location at 8 Hooper Street, Marblehead, Massachusetts.

  • MoCCA Art Fest 2010

    MoCCA Art Fest is coming sooner than ever! The classic indie comics festival and fundraiser will be held this year on April 10-11 at the 68th Regiment Armory in downtown Manhattan. Look for Boston Comics Roundtable – we’ll be there, selling our anthologies and comics projects by our members!

  • Boston Comic Con

    Boston’s own comic show is moving up in the world, and the Roundtable will be there! This Spring’s con will take place at a new, bigger location (Westin Boston Waterfront) with high-profile guests (Jim Lee, Sergio Aragonés, Mike Mignola, and more). Boston Comics Roundtable will have a table – come by and check out our anthologies, graphic novels, and minicomics!

  • Graphic Novel Event at MassArt

    Interested in making graphic novels? Learn about the creative and publishing processes at an event co-hosted by Massachusetts College of Art and the Graphic Artist Guild. Join them on February 6 from 1-5 for presentations and panel discussions, followed by a portfolio review. Panelists include Roundtable members Gareth Hinds (King Lear, Beowulf) and Dave Kender (Roundtable founder and writer of The Ragbox).   • Robot art exhibit at Space 242

    Robot attack! Space 242, Boston’s gallery for “pop surrealist and ‘low brow’ artists,” is opening a new exhibit of robot-inspired artwork, I…YOU…WE…ROBOT!. Look for pieces by two Roundtable members, Ron LeBrasseur and E.J. Barnes!

    The exhibit will run from January 29 through February 19 with an exhibition opening party on Friday, January 29, 6-8pm. RSVP required for the party – please use Space 242’s RSVP contact form. See Space 242’s website for gallery hours and directions.
