SUMMER KIDS COMICS WORKSHOP

This course introduces the components of the modern Graphic Novel. It explores storytelling, techniques and formats: Manga, Comics, Newspaper Strips and Graphic Novels. Students will learn the basics of crafting a story as well as a variety of materials and techniques involved in creating sequential art in the studio. At the end of this class students would have created their own book.

Teachers: Roho and John Carvajal.

Age group: 8 to 12
Time: 7/16 -/ 7/23 – 7/30 and 8/6 9:30 to 11
